Kurt Electronics designs and builds both manually loaded precision gaging systems that sample a production process to fully automated in-line precision gaging systems that measure 100% of the parts being produced on production lines. For automated systems, part flow can be completely controlled by Kurt, with rejected parts automatically sorted from the production flow. The custom gages are designed around a customer's particular SPC application and can be made with the flexibility to measure a wide range of features and can include extremely tight tolerance GD&T characteristics. For complete flexibility, Kurt can also provide a fully programmed turn-key CMM designed for shop-floor applications. The Kurt MAGnum comes in three different sizes range from a 12" cube workspace up to individual axes lengths of 36". The MAGnum can combine both touch probe technology for flexibility along with LVDT transducer measurements for speed and accuracy within one machine.
