A KurtUSB Control Supply module is available for systems using the KurtUSB DC I/O module. It requires an 110/220VAC outlet to supply 24 V DC control power to downstream KurtUSB I/O modules and should be installed inline before any KurtUSB DC I/O modules. One power module can be used with many KurtUSB DC I/O modules, but refer to the DC I/O Power worksheets to determine exact power requirements. The KurtUSB Control Power module also comes equipped with a connector for an emergency stop circuit. Use a maintained type switch and wire to the normally closed contacts on the emergency stop button. The +24VS line is the switched power source for all devices that require to be disabled when the emergency stop is pressed.
